A little bit about me
I have been married to my husband Darren a chemical process technician for 13 years and we have two grown up children. I worked as a chef for 13 years before starting my family. I started childminding in 2006 when my own children began full time education.
I have cared for children from 6 weeks to 11yrs and have experience caring for a child who is milk intolerant.
I am a member of the national childminders association and Hartlepool's Quest for quality scheme as a member of this scheme I will be visited regularly by Hartlepool's early year's officers to ensure I am delivering consistent quality childcare.
My professional development is important to me and I attend regular training courses keeping me up to date with current trends and legislation.
My qualifications include:
- CACHE level 3 Diploma in Home-based Childcare Grade A
- Paediatric First Aid
- Level 2 food safety
- Level 2 Healthier foods special diets
- Safeguarding children
